Do you need to monitor the airflow around your servers or within your data centre? Consider verifying that your air conditioning and heating systems are operating to their maximum potential. All of that and more is possible with the new SparkFun FS3000-1005 Air Velocity Sensor Breakout! Hooking up is really simple and quick (Qwiic!).
The FS3000-1005, a surface-mount air velocity module from Renesas with a range of 0-7.2m/s (0-16.2mph), is the centre of this breakout board. It makes use of a MEMS thermopile-based sensor, has a digital output with a resolution of 12 bits, and is coated with silicon carbide to prevent water condensation and abrasive wear. It also uses “solid” thermal isolation technology.
