Overview

The STPIVLH Positive Input Ventilation unit from Tornado creates fresh and healthy living environments by supplying filtered air into a property from your loft space at a continuous rate through a ceiling mounted diffuser. The units have been developed to improve indoor air quality and resolve condensation and mould problems.

When the loft air temperature drops below 10C, the internal heating element turns on to temper the incoming air. Once the loft air rises above 10C, the heating element turns off. You can install the optional heater switch (HEATER ENABLE SWITCH), which allows you to disable/enable the automatic heater function.

In conditions between 19C – 25C the units will increase air flow rate by 10%. In hot conditions above 25C the units will temporarily switch off to avoid bringing hot air into the property from the loft space.

The PIV Unit uses a single 200mm diffuser to provide air into a hallway or landing area which is supplied with the unit, along with all items required for installation.
