The Circutor SEC72 FA 250/5A (code M105YG) is an exchangeable replacement scale for the EC72 FA moving iron ammeter, calibrated to a full-scale reading of 250/5 A for use with a 5 A secondary current transformer. It is designed to fit the 72 x 72 mm EC72 FA instrument housing, allowing operators to re-range or restore an existing panel ammeter without replacing the entire unit. The scale measures 60 x 60 x 1 mm and weighs just 0.004 kg.

Technical specifications:

• Model: SEC72 FA 250/5 A
• Circutor code: M105YG
• EAN: 8433059004866
• Full scale: 250/5 A
• Compatible device: EC72 FA
• Module format: 72 x 72 mm
• Scale dimensions: 60 x 60 x 1 mm
• Weight: 0.004 kg

Features and benefits:

• Exchangeable design means the scale can be swapped independently of the EC72 FA ammeter body, reducing replacement cost and panel downtime.
• Calibrated specifically for a 250/5 A CT ratio, ensuring accurate current indication at the panel face when paired with the correct current transformer.
• The 60 x 60 x 1 mm format is engineered to seat correctly within the EC72 FA 72 x 72 mm housing with no modification required.
• At 0.004 kg the scale adds negligible mass to the instrument, posing no mechanical stress on the ammeter mounting.
• Part of the SEC-FA series spanning 50/5 A to 5000/5 A, so a matching scale is available if the CT ratio at a given installation changes in future.

Applications:

• Re-ranging an existing EC72 FA panel ammeter to a 250/5 A reading without instrument replacement.
• Refurbishment of switchgear and distribution boards fitted with Circutor EC72 FA moving iron ammeters.
• Industrial control panels and MCC cubicles where 72 x 72 mm format instrumentation and 5 A secondary CTs are specified.
• Spare-parts stocking for maintenance teams responsible for Circutor EC-FA series panel instruments.
