The Gravity CH423 I2C 24 Digital IO Expansion Module is a versatile GPIO expansion solution designed to significantly increase the digital input and output capabilities of microcontroller-based systems. Built around the CH423 IO expander chip, the module extends 24 digital ports through a simple I2C interface, providing 8 GPIO pins with interrupt functionality and 16 dedicated GPO outputs. This allows developers to add large numbers of digital control lines while using only a few microcontroller pins.
The CH423 integrates a high-current drive circuit capable of delivering up to 15mA continuous output current, making it suitable for directly driving LEDs, LED displays, and other digital loads.
