  • The SparkFun DataLogger IoT – 9DoF serves as a preprogrammed data logger that seamlessly records data from IMU, GPS, pressure, humidity, and distance sensors. Remarkably, this functionality doesn’t require any coding effort. The DataLogger effortlessly identifies, sets up, and logs Qwiic sensors. It caters particularly to users seeking to effortlessly accumulate extensive data into formats like CSV or JSON, allowing them to swiftly return to their larger-scale projects. Data can be stored on a microSD card or transmitted wirelessly to a preferred Internet of Things (IoT) service.
Embedded within each DataLogger IoT is an IMU that facilitates automatic logging of readings from a triple-axis accelerometer, gyro, and magnetometer. While the original 9DOF Razor relied on the older MPU-9250, the DataLogger IoT adopts the ISM330DHCX by STMicroelectronics and MMC5983MA from MEMSIC. The operation is simple: power up the DataLogger IoT, set up the board to record data from supported devices, and initiate the logging process. Timestamps can be applied when synchronized with NTP, GNSS, or RTC time sources.
