The TS5A22364 is a bidirectional, two-channel, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switch that operates from 2.3 V to 5.5 V. The device supports negative signals, which allows signals below ground to travel through the switch without distortion. Furthermore, the TS5A22364 has an inbuilt shunt switch that automatically discharges any capacitance at the NC or NO terminals when they are not connected to COM. This lowers the audible click/pop noise while switching between two sources. The break-before-make feature reduces signal distortion while moving a signal from one path to another. Low ON-state resistance, excellent channel-to-channel ON-state resistance matching, and low total harmonic distortion (THD) performance make them ideal for audio applications. There is also a nonmagnetic version of the 3.00 x 3.00 mm DRC package for use in medical imaging.
